I work in our valve assembly department. It’s my job to put valves of different types and sizes together for pressure tests.
WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF YOUR JOB?
My co-workers. They gave me a warm welcome from day one. I also appreciate how varied the workdays are, and that you are afforded the opportunity to be flexible in your work.
HOW DID YOU COME TO WORK AT SOMAS
I used to work in construction. I have heard a lot of good things about Somas for many years and had wanted to work here for a long time. When I finally made up my mind to try something new, I phoned in to place my application, and luckily it went well! Valves are an entirely new field for me, but I’m very happy I decided to take the chance.
HOW DO YOU VIEW SOMAS AS A CoMPANY?
Somas to me is a safe workplace where everything and everyone works in harmony. Development is always a focus. It’s a large company in a small town with a genuine focus on taking care of its employees.
