The puck provides a very good visual indication of the position of the valve, at the same time as showing the status of the sensors. This solution is able to withstand vibrations very well.
Installation according to VDI/VDE 3845 (NAMUR).
The gear unit has protection class IP67. Epoxy-coated. The gear unit is available in several different sizes to cover the entire range of valve dimensions.
Dimensions for the gear units can be found in Somas’ data sheets for the valve in question.
