The chemical industry is sensitive, bearing in mind its extensive handling of hazardous chemicals etc. This places particularly high demands on valves in the industry. Somas’ control valves and on/off valves meet the stipulated requirements and are widely used in the chemical industry. We are meticulous when it comes to the design and development of our valves. They are carefully adapted in terms of design and materials, with the aim of meeting the process requirements that are laid down.

Somas supplies a number of valves to the chemical industry, most of which are used as control or manual on/off valves. Among these, Somas’ ball segment valves are the ones most commonly used as control valves, while butterfly valves and ball valves are used as on/off valves.

Meeting the chemical industry’s process demands comes naturally to us here at Somas and
is an integral part of our development work. Our valves are made of stainless materials, but can also be supplied in titanium or high-nickel alloys.
