Bleed valves

Somas’ bleed valves are used in gas turbines to handle the excess air produced by the compressors when the gas turbine is to be started up, stopped or shut down quickly. Bleed valves discharge excess air from one or more of the turbine’s compressor stages. Somas’ butterfly valves are used to regulate and shut off these flows.
