SCR valves

By adding urea and water to the exhaust gas flow passing through a reactor, NOx and ammonia are converted into nitrogen and water in order to meet Tier III NOx emissions standards.

Somas’ exhaust gas valves are used for shutting off and regulating the exhaust flow for this process. The tightness of the valves throughout the temperature range of the process is of utmost importance and is a key factor as regards the functionality of the SCR system.
